Terms of Service

The service

StoreCheck Markets sends merchant-configured requests to Shopify to inspect how selected product variants behave in carts for selected countries. It can compare availability, currency, totals, quantity, and optional discount behavior with expectations you provide.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your Shopify account and app access secure.
• Use only discount codes, products, and stores you are authorized to test.
• Review scan results and independently verify material storefront, tax, shipping, duties, and checkout behavior before relying on it.
• Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or use it in violation of law or Shopify's terms.

Important service boundary

A scan is a point-in-time cart preflight signal. It does not place an order, process a payment, calculate every possible checkout charge, or guarantee that a buyer can complete checkout. Shopify settings, inventory, prices, discounts, buyer identity, address, tax, duties, shipping, and third-party services can change the final outcome.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, including to protect security or comply with platform requirements.

Fees

Any paid plan, trial, renewal, upgrade, or downgrade offered for the app will be presented and billed through Shopify. Pricing terms shown in Shopify at the time of selection control your subscription.

Intellectual property

We retain rights in the app, its design, and its software. You retain rights in your store data and configuration. You grant us the limited permission needed to process that data to provide and secure the service.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and without implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages resulting from use of, or inability to use, the service. Rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law remain unaffected.

Termination

You can stop using the service by uninstalling the app. We may limit or end access for material abuse, security risk, non-payment, legal requirements, or violation of these terms. Data deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.
